Report: Baylor WR Levi Norwood To Undergo Surgery On Wrist, Out At Least 3 Weeks

The hits keep coming for the Baylor football team.

The Bears, who started the season with a victory against Southern Methodist, are dealing with a back injury to its starting quarterback, Bryce Petty, and now will be without one of their leading wide receivers in Levi Norwood. The Baylor senior wideout injured his wrist against SMU and injury requires surgery. He'll be out at least three weeks.

Norwood isn't the only Bear who will miss time, either.

Baylor likely will be able to get through its upcoming stretch of games unscathed, though. The Bears host Northwestern State this weekend before traveling to Buffalo and Iowa State. The date to get healthy by is Oct. 4, when Baylor takes on Texas in Waco.
