What Seed Did Baylor Get In The 2014 NCAA Tournament?

Seed: For the upcoming 2014 NCAA Tournament, the Baylor Bears were given a 6-seed in the West-region. They are coached by Scott Drew and hail from the Big 12 conference.

Where: They will open play against Nebraska in San Antonio on Friday.

Why: BU finished the regular season with a 9-9 record in the Big 12. The Bears posted notable victories over Kentucky, Colorado, Oklahoma State (twice), Kansas State (twice), and Iowa State. Baylor had a great start to the season, but began Big 12 play 2-8, which put Baylor's tournament hopes in jeopardy. Baylor has responded with a 7-1 record down the stretch in conference play.

Ceiling: Baylor has been rolling as of late, and are very capable of knocking off some of the big boys. The Bears are about as athletic as any team in the country, led by star forward Cory Jefferson, and have a sharp-shooter in Brady Heslip who can change games. While the road to the Sweet 16 is difficult, they're playing well enough to make some noise.
