2014 March Madness: Iowa State Vs. North Carolina Central – Game Time, TV Schedule, Predictions

Iowa State, fresh off of a magical run through the Big 12 Tournament last week, will take on a dangerous North Carolina Central squad this Friday night in San Antonio. The Cyclones were rewarded for their postseason tournament victory with a team that has won 20 games in a row. Yes, that was sarcasm.

Date: Friday, March 21, 2014

Time: 9:50 PM EST

TV Channel: TNT

Location: AT&T Center (San Antonio, TX)

Prediction: Iowa State is a popular sleeper pick by many to reach this year's Final Four. The Cyclones may have a tough time getting out of their first game alive. North Carolina Central enters the big dance with a record of 28-5, not having lost a game since January 11th. The Eagles beat NC State earlier in the season and even gave No. 1 seed Wichita State a game back in December. ISU's dynamic duo of Melvin Ejim and DeAndre Kane are going to be tough to deal with, but this one isn't going to be as easy on Cyclones fans as they're hoping.
