Last season, Iowa State forward Georges Niang was listed at 240 pounds. While he wasn't a huge guy by any stretch of the imagination, he has said that one of his goals was to get in better shape before the start of the season. Well, Niang took that to heart, and the third-team All-Big 12 selection last year posted a picture to his Instagram today that shows how much weight he has lost. The before and after photos look completely different.
Niang told CBS's Jeff Borzello earlier this month that, after ballooning to 255 pounds after he suffered a season-ending foot injury, he's now down to somewhere near 230 pounds. As you can guess, his coach Fred Hoiberg is ecstatic about Niang's weight loss.

Niang was one of the stars on the Iowa State team that made it to the Sweet 16 last season, averaging 16.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
