Video: Teammates Surprise Iowa State's Mitchell Meyers After Final Chemo Treatment

Iowa State football players surprise teammate Mitchell Meyers after final chemo session.

Iowa State defensive lineman Mitchell Meyers has finished his final of seven rounds of chemotherapy after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma earlier this year.

It can't be an easy process to go through something like that, but it must feel good to find out you have such a big support system. And as Meyers completed his final session, his teammates decided to surprise him and make sure he wasn't the only one celebrating.

A lot of college football team's claim to have "family" environments, and this is the kind of moment that brings meaning to that claim. Very cool.
