Five-star recruit Anthony Edwards is the class of 2019's No. 1-ranked point guard.

247Sports has the Atlanta native ranked as the top player in Georgia, and the No. 4 recruit in the entire country.

Back in December, he unveiled a pretty star-studded top five schools list.

Traditional hoops powers Duke, Kansas, and Kentucky are joined by two less obvious programs: Florida State and Georgia.

The 'Noles and Dawgs might have a better shot than normal for a player of this caliber.

SB Nation's Ricky O'Donnell did a longform interview with the blue chip prospect nicknamed "Ant-Man," and revealed a few of the major factors that will play into his recruitment.

Anthony Edwards says that proximity to home and relationship to the coach are very important to him.

The coach that was in on him first: Florida State's Leonard Hamilton:

Edwards has trimmed his college list down to five schools: Florida State, Kansas, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Georgia. He says he’s looking for a school that isn’t too far from home, and one where he has a close relationship with the coach. It’s worth noting that Leonard Hamilton’s Florida State was the first big program to make a serious push for him. Edwards remembers that, and it’s why many recruiting insiders view FSU as the favorite.

247Sports' crystal ball has FSU as the favorite here as well.

Nine of the 10 recruiting analysts to log predictions for where Edwards will end up believe he will be a Seminole.
