Caleb Love, a 2020 five-star guard, won’t be making his official visit to Kansas until October. But Jayhawks head coach Bill Self didn’t want to wait a month to meet with the prized recruit.
According to The Kansas City Star, Self traveled to St. Louis on Tuesday just to meet with Love. He wasn’t alone though, as coaches from UNC and Louisville (two schools on his list) met with him there as well.
247Sports rates Love as the No. 20 overall prospect in the country. He is the No. 4 point guard in the nation, and the No. 1 recruit from the state of Missouri.
Love took an unofficial visit to Kansas in June, and has since released his final six. His list consists of Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, Arizona, North Carolina, and Louisville.

He recently visited Missouri and will check out Indiana, UNC and Louisville before visiting Kansas officially in early-October.
The Jayhawks are still seeking their first recruit in the Class of 2020, and Caleb Love would be a stellar addition.
Will Love be a Jayhawk in 2020?
