Last month, 2020 five-star point guard Caleb Love released his top six schools, and has since starting visiting the ones on his list. But he just gave a big recruiting update that will narrow the field even further.
According to ESPN basketball insider Jeff Borzello, Love is cancelling his upcoming visit to Indiana and is removing the Hoosiers from his list. Removing Indiana leaves Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, North Carolina, and Louisville remaining as contenders.
Additionally, Love has decided to reschedule his October visit to Kansas due to a conflict with USA Basketball. He will still be keeping his scheduled visits to Louisville and North Carolina.
Love is considered the No. 20 overall prospect in the country, the No. 4 point guard, and the No. 1 player from the state of Missouri by 247Sports.

Being removed from contention for Love is a big blow for the Hoosiers, who would have been grateful to add him to their 2020 recruiting class.
But Indiana’s loss is certainly a big gain for the likes of Kansas, Missouri, UNC, and Louisville. All four schools have made appeals in the past few weeks alone, and all that remains for Love is to finish his official visits.
