If his freshman season was a sign of things to come, Devon Dotson could be on the verge of having a breakout campaign next season for Kansas.
Dotson was tasked with the challenge of leading the Jayhawks’ backcourt as a freshman. With Lagerald Vick out toward the end of the season and Udoka Azubuike sidelined with an injury, there was a lot of responsibility that fell on his shoulders.
After Kanas got eliminated from the NCAA Tournament, Dotson entered his name in the NBA Draft. He received feedback from scouts before deciding to return to school.
Once Dotson told the coaching staff that he’d return to Kansas, Bill Self said “We feel like we have a very high draft pick in next year’s draft returning as our point guard.”
Well, it appears all the hype surrounding Dotson is justified.
The talented point guard shared a video of himself working out on Twitter. Let’s just that Dotson has the potential to compete for a spot on the All-Big 12 first team.

Devon Dotson’s return gives him the chance to improve his draft stock while also making a run toward the Final Four.
We’ll get to see just how much better Dotson got this offseason when the regular season begins in November.
