Kansas basketball is on a serious slide, with three losses in four games.

The most recent: a bad loss to a fledgling Texas team in Austin.

The road has been no friend to the Jayhawks. Kansas is now 1-5 in true road games this season, with a 1-3 mark on the road in Big 12 play.

Kansas remains undefeated at home, and luckily for them, they return to Allen Fieldhouse for a huge Big 12 game this weekend.

The Jayhawks host another Big 12 contender: No. 16 Texas Tech.

It is the first of two match-ups with the Red Raiders this month, which may go a long way towards determining whether Kansas will win its 15th straight Big 12 regular season title.

Even with the recent Jayhawks slide, Texas Tech isn't favored to take down Kansas basketball.

The Red Raiders are coming off of a losing streak of their own, dropping three straight to Iowa State, Baylor, and Kansas State, before rebounding with wins over Arkansas and TCU.

ESPN's Basketball Power Index gives Kansas a better-than 65.5-percent chance to win Saturday's game.

Kansas vs. Texas Tech's ESPN BPI Projection.

Right now, given these two teams' recent struggles, Iowa State has emerged as the new BPI and KenPom favorite to win the Big 12. A win here would be big for both the Jayhawks and Red Raiders.
