In just over an hour, two top-20 teams will face off in a matchup of college basketball powerhouses. No. 17 Villanova travels to Lawrence to take on No. 1 Kansas in a highly-anticipated game.
The Wildcats enter this afternoon’s game coming off a significant upset loss to Penn – which spurred a young freshman point guard to make a questionable decision on social media. Jahvon Quinerly sent a message on Instagram that he quickly deleted.
The team has since moved on and now gets ready to face an unbeaten Kansas program. The Jayhawks are one of just nine teams in the country that boast a zero in the loss column.
They’ll look to keep it that way this afternoon.
ESPN released its prediction for the game. The Worldwide Leader gives Kansas a 76.2-percent chance to win.
The Jayhawks enter the game as a 7.5-point favorite. Kansas and Villanova tip off at 12:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
