The Kansas Jayhawks aren't wasting any time getting an early jump on recruiting 2022 prospects. That's right, the program seems to be making progress with talented forward Gradey Dick.

It's far too early to make any predictions for Dick, who has nine offers at this point. With roughly three years left of high school basketball, it's likely that he'll see more programs join his recruitment process over time.

Considering that Dick is from Wichita, Kansas it's not surprising to see the Jayhawks in the mix for his commitment. The in-state powerhouse could have him in the building very soon for a visit.

According to KUsports.com, Dick plans on making an unofficial visit to Kansas this fall. It could take place on Late Night during the first week of October.

Recruiting insider Matt Scott had a glowing review for the 2022 recruit, saying "This kid is a very skilled prospect who plays with a high motor and is ultra-aggressive on the court."

Dick announced back in June that he received an offer from Kansas.

247Sports doesn't have a grade on Gradey Dick yet since he's still early in the recruitment process. However, it's a good sign for the six-foot-five forward that he's already seeing offers from top schools.

Kansas could possibly become the front-runner for Dick after his unofficial visit in October.
