Joel Embiid Celebrates 76ers Draft Lottery Win With Amazing "Dikembe Was Right" Photoshop

It took a while, but the Philadelphia 76ers finally landed the No. 1 pick they've been looking for since going completely in the tank in 2013. The team won tonight's NBA Draft Lottery, which fulfilled an accidental prediction by one of the team's former stars, Dikembe Mutombo, who prematurely congratulated the team, leading some to think he was privvy to the lottery results before they were shown on ESPN.

After the lottery win, Joel Embiid, a former top pick by the team who has been out for two seasons due to injury, celebrated by posting an amazing photoshop of Mutombo holding a giant lottery ball.

He also hinted that he will be ready, at long last, to play for the team this season.

Odds are, Philadelphia will add either LSU's Ben Simmons or Duke's Brandon Ingram to a frontcourt that already features Jahlil Okafor and potentially Embiid. If they all pan out, someone is going to have to send former general manager Sam Hinkie a nice card and maybe a fruit basket.
