Joel Embiid Is Still Waiting For A Response From LeBron James, Asks NBA If Twitter Recruitment Will Get Him Fined

There's a chance Joel Embiid may not suit up for the 76ers this year, if the team handles his injury situation like they did with Nerlens Noel last season. When it comes to social media, however, the Kansas product is already putting together a Rookie of the Year-caliber performance.

When we last hear from Embiid, he was trying to recruit LeBron James to join him in Philadelphia. A few days later, the center hasn't hear back from the Miami Heat star, and isn't too happy about it.

Embiid quickly realized that his tweeting at James could be considered tampering, and made sure to check with the NBA to ensure that everything is on the up-and-up.

Between the use of his dour post-draft face in the first tweet, and another joke about his accent, Embiid is wonderfully self-deprecating.

How could you not want to play with this guy, LeBron?
