Kansas' Cliff Alexander Upset With "Disloyal Fans" After He Declares For The NBA Draft

Kansas freshman forward Cliff Alexander, a former five-star recruit, had a tumultuous 2014-2015 season in Lawrence, and he was forced to miss the team's last eight games (including the entire postseason) due to an NCAA investigation regarding his eligibility. Earlier this week, Alexander declared for the NBA Draft, ending his stint with the Jayhawks.

Reaction from KU fans has been mixed - most have expressed appreciation for his decision to play for the school, even if it was just for one year. Others have been critical of Alexander, mainly because he didn't turn out to be a giant asset for the program. Thursday, Alexander showed his frustration with the latter camp, tweeting about "disloyal fans."

Alexander averaged 7.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game before he was forced out of action. It'll be interesting to see where he's drafted come June.
