Kansas Had One Of The Best/Lamest Field Rushes Of All-Time Tonight

Respect the program, Kansas students.

The Jayhawks' football team won their season opener in dominant fashion tonight, defeating Rhode Island, 55-6. It's Kansas' first win since Nov. 8, 2014 (a 20-point victory vs. Iowa State), as the Lawrence, Ks. program went 0-12 in 2015. The 49-point margin of victory is the team's biggest since 2007.

Kansas' students celebrated the win by rushing the field. It was a pretty lame rush, though.

Kansas' students were told by the PA announcer to leave the field "for the respect of this program."

Please respect the program that hasn't had a winning season since 2008 and had a 9-61 record over their last 70 games coming into tonight.
