Kansas' Joel Embiid Officially Declares For The NBA Draft

When it was originally reported a few weeks back that Kansas freshman Joel Embiid would be declaring for the NBA Draft, Embiid himself took to Twitter to deny the news and clarify that he was still undecided. This time around, there is no waffling - Embiid has officially made his decision to leave the Jayhawks after one season for the pros.

Embiid averaged 11.2 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game in his freshman year at KU. He is widely expected to be drafted in the first few picks this upcoming June. He joins another stud Kansas freshman, Andrew Wiggins, who declared just a few weeks ago.
