Kansas doesn’t know its Sweet Sixteen opponent yet. It does, however, know when it will be playing.

Yesterday's 83-79 win over Seton Hall gave Kansas its third-straight Sweet Sixteen appearance. The Jayhawks played their first two NCAA Tournament games in Wichita, so they basically had a pair of home games.

Kansas' next opponent will be either fourth-seeded Auburn or No. 5 seed Clemson. That game is tipping off later this afternoon.

While the Jayhawks have to wait a couple of hours to see who they will be playing in the Sweet Sixteen in Omaha, they already know when the game will be.

KU's next game is on Friday night.

The other game in Omaha next Friday will be Duke against either Syracuse or Michigan State. There is a chance that game will be the late one, especially if it includes Duke and Michigan State.

If Kansas wins Friday, they will advance to the regional final on Sunday. The Elite Eight has been a bugaboo of sorts for KU lately; they lost in that round each of the last two years.

We will update you later today with the time and opponent for Kansas. For now Jayhawks fans, just make sure you have your Friday night clear.
