With 3 Kansas State Quarterbacks Injured, Wildcat Linemen Volunteer To Switch Positions

Several teams have dealt with crazy injuries this season, but Kansas State has been forced to go five deep at quarterback already due to injury and illness.

On Saturday, wide receiver Kody Cook played quarterback with Joe Hubener out, and almost picked up an upset over Oklahoma State. Hubener should be back, but if Bill Snyder needs to dip into the rest of the roster again, he has a couple of big guys ready to step up.

Geary is a sophomore defensive tackle, while Risner starts at center for the Wildcats. Freshman walk-on quarterback Zach Davidson would likely be the actual sixth stringer, should Kansas State need, but it is good to know that Snyder has options if he wants to get really creative in the face of all these injuries.
