Oklahoma President David Boren Says "25 Schools" Have Shown Interest In Big 12

The possibility of Big 12 expansion has been discussed at length recently, with a variety of different programs reportedly showing interest.

Oklahoma president David Boren, a longtime proponent of expansion, spoke with the media today following a meeting with the OU Board of Regents. Among the interesting tidbits Boren dropped was his statement that more than two dozen schools have expressed interest in joining the Big 12.

Twenty-five schools is a lot. We can surmise that a lot of the usual suspects (BYU, UCF, Colorado State, UConn, Memphis etc.) are probably among that group, but there could be some surprising names as well.
