When it comes to naming college football's classiest coach, it's hard to say anyone but Kansas State's Bill Snyder. The Wildcats' head man never says a bad word about anyone, has a stadium named in his honor, and even sends personalized, hand-written notes to players on opposing teams after each and every game, win or lose.
Two weekends ago, Kansas State traveled to Lubbock and handed the Red Raiders an ugly loss, but Snyder (of course) remained classy after the victory. He wrote a letter to TTU's star tight end, Jace Amaro -- Amaro tweeted out a photo of the note today, and was very appreciative:
"You've had a great year Jace. Admire how hard you play & the innate toughness you display to help your team. Hope you weren't hurt badly on Sat.
Wishing you & your teammates continued success, good fortune & health.
You have to love Snyder's unbelievable sportsmanship -- we could use more of this in sports.
