Kansas State looks great so far against Auburn. The Wildcats defense has held Auburn's vaunted rushing attack to just 16 yards on six attempts, and the offense has been moving the ball effective against the Tigers. Gus Malzahn's squad leads 3-0 late in the first quarter, however, because they've been opportunistic. Auburn kicked its field goal after recovering a Kansas State fumble at its own 24 yard line, and kept Kansas State from a big touchdown with this interception off of a drop by star receiver Tyler Lockett.
Kansas State missed a field goal with 27 seconds left in the quarter. Auburn still leads 3-0 in Manhattan.
