4-Star CB Dontae Manning Announces Commitment

Kansas City (MO) Raytown four-star cornerback Dontae Manning is off the board. The highly-rated 2020 prospect announced his commitment moments ago.

Manning is heading to Oklahoma. He announced his commitment to the Sooners moments ago on Twitter, calling OU "home."

"A special thanks to every coach that invested time into me and giving me the shot to play and represent their University," Manning wrote. "With that being said, after much consideration, I will [be] continuing my educational and athletic career at The University of Oklahoma."

Manning is the No. 12 cornerback and the 180th-ranked overall player in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

He is also the third-rated player in the state of Missouri.

Manning is the sixth verbal commitment for the Sooners in the 2020 cycle, and the fourth to be rated four stars or higher.
