Alabama and Oklahoma are set to battle it out in the Orange Bowl for the right to play Clemson in the national championship on January 7. We'll get to see Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray go against the Alabama defense.

It might be worth seeing if Isaiah Buggs and Cody Ford battle it out in the trenches tonight too. Buggs, an Alabama defensive end and Ford, an Oklahoma offensive tackle, got into a bit of a pregame tiff.

Fortunately, nothing physical happened. However, media on the scene reported they were clearly getting into it verbally.

TheFranchiseOK.com's John Hoover has some more details on what went down.

Considering Buggs and Ford will likely go head-to-head at times tonight, the trash talk probably won't end pregame.

Alabama and Oklahoma are set to kick off at approximately 8:10 p.m. ET.

ESPN will broadcast the game.
