Baker Mayfield was in New York this past December when he won the 2017 Heisman Trophy. The former star Oklahoma quarterback says he'd love to come back.

The potential first-round NFL Draft pick admitted on Saturday that he would enjoy playing for one of NYC's teams. Mayfield is a possibility for both the Giants and the Jets.

“I would love it,” Mayfield said at a press conference during Oklahoma’s game against Texas on Saturday. “I’ve heard Broadway Baker. We’ll see.”

Broadway Baker is a pretty awesome nickname.

The Giants are picking No. 2 and they do need a future replacement for Eli Manning. However, it seems unlikely that he'd be selected there.

The Jets, meanwhile, always seem to be in need of a quarterback. They pick at No. 6 and if Mayfield is still available, it wouldn't be surprising if he goes there.

Mayfield, though a bit undersized, is considered one of the top prospects in the 2018 class. He's believed to be a top 10-15 pick.

The former Oklahoma star is set to compete in the NFL Combine in Indianapolis later this month. The Heisman Trophy winner has said he'll be doing everything, including throwing.

The NFL Combine is set to take place at Lucas Oil Stadium from Feb. 27 to March 5. It'll be televised on the NFL Network.
