Oklahoma's Bob Stoops Purchases $2.25 Million Chicago Home

Bob Stoops and his wife, Carol, purchased a $2.25 million home in Chicago's Gold Coast in April.

Oklahoma head football coach Bob Stoops and his wife, Carol, purchased a four-bedroom, 5,500-square-foot home on the Gold Coast in Chicago last month, per Bob Goldsborough of the Chicago Tribune.

Per the Tribune:

Built in 1886, the mansion has a greystone facade, 5½ baths, an elevator, a sunroom, a fourth-floor media room, a south-facing wall of windows, two fireplaces, stone baths and an au pair space on the lower level.

Sounds lovely!

The Stoops actually already own a house in the Gold Coast neighborhood—in fact it's right next door to the new one they just purchased. They purchased that $2.2 million vintage home all the way back in 2006.

The home they just purchased was initially listed in 2015 at $2.98 million, but was eventually reduced all the way to less than $2.5 million.

You can check out pictures of their newly purchased home here. It's pretty snazzy.
