Bob Stoops Issues Statement, Vows To "Fight Racism Everywhere"

Sooners head football coach Bob Stoops is making it clear how he feels about racism at the University of Oklahoma. Monday morning, in response to the circulation of a video that allegedly shows members of the SAE fraternity on campus engaging in a racist chant, Stoops joined his players for a peaceful demonstration. Now, he's taken to Twitter to make a statement and vow to fight racism.

Stoops mentioned that he supports the actions taken by school president David Boren, who issued a powerful statement Monday morning.

">@President_Boren take swift action against racism & punishing bigots. I join our campus in fighting racism everywhere.

It's great to see Stoops taking charge during what's clearly a trying time in Norman.
