Last week, Brock Vandagriff named his top six schools. It was an important step in the recruitment of one of the elite recruits in the 2021 class.

Vandagriff is currently ranked No. 4 among 2021 pro-style quarterbacks. He's the No. 35 player overall in the class.

Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma and Tennessee all made the top six for Vandagriff. One of those may be standing out though.

In a recent interview, Brock Vandagriff raved about how Oklahoma and head coach Lincoln Riley, are handling the recruiting process with him.

Vandagriff stopped short of calling Oklahoma his favorite, or calling himself a Sooner lean. However, it definitely sounds like he is very interested in what Riley and the Sooners have to offer:

From 247Sports:

Vandagriff did not provide a commitment date, but he said he won’t hesitate to make his commitment known to the coach and university he chooses when he’s ready.

“I think whenever I’m ready I’ll commit then,” he said. “I’m not a big fan of the whole recruiting process because I don’t feel like dragging people along. Coach Riley has just been outstanding. If I’m committing to Oklahoma, I don’t want to make him wait. He’s just been so good with the process.”

Two recruiting analysts have logged predictions for where Vandagriff will eventually wind up over at 247's crystal ball. Both believe he'll be a Sooner.
