Buddy Hield Wins Big 12 Player Of The Year For 2nd Straight Season

There are few players in college basketball as fun to watch as Oklahoma guard Buddy Hield, and after leading OU to a 24-6 record and third place Big 12 finish, he has won his second straight conference player of the year award.

Hield has marvelous numbers this season, scoring 25.1 points per game for the Sooners on 49.5-percent shooting from the field, and 47.3-percent from three point range. His Sooners open their Big 12 Tournament with sixth-seeded Iowa State on Thursday, March 10 in the quarterfinals. Hield has a chance to add national player of the year honors to his extensive college basketball resume.
