Chris Morris has over a year until his class’ National Signing Day, but his recruitment is starting to take form.
The four-star 2020 offensive tackle narrowed his list to 12 schools.
It is unclear if he will be considering others moving forward, and he doesn’t make that clear in the tweet.
The Memphis native has his hometown Tigers on the list, the sole non-Power Five program to make the cut.
The SEC is well-represented, with Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas A&M making the list.
Florida State, Oklahoma, Purdue, and Texas round things out.
Chris Morris announced his Top 12 with an interesting hunting graphic.
I really don’t know what to make of the placement of the teams on the head fowl, or the dog. Probably nothing too significant.

Two early 247Sports crystal ball predictions have him going to Arkansas, but obviously that is a very small sample size.
The site ranks him No. 119 overall, No. 16 among offensive tackles, and No. 7 in the state of Tennessee.
