The first half of action between Baylor and Oklahoma was exciting to say the least. On the other hand, the two programs both played sloppy on offense.
While the main goal for both teams is to win the Big 12 Championship, the winner of this game could actually find itself in the College Football Playoff.
Even though it’s hard to argue against Baylor or Oklahoma’s resume, college football analyst Danny Kanell doesn’t want to see either team in the Playoff.
Kanell tweeted “Give me Oregon over these two…smh” during the first half of action.
Oregon looked dominant on Friday in its 37-15 win over Utah in the Pac-12 Championship.
Unfortunately for the Ducks, the selection committee isn’t going to dismiss their two losses to Auburn and Arizona State.
Give me Oregon over these two….smh

This isn’t the first time that Kanell has stirred the pot when it comes to college football talk. He usually criticizes the SEC though.
Whether Kanell likes it or not, the committee will most likely have the winner of the Big 12 Championship placed above Oregon in the final rankings.
Following this Baylor-Oklahoma showdown, the focus will shift over to the SEC Championship. Georgia can punch its ticket into the Playoff with a win over LSU.
