It's fair to say deciding between No. 8 and No. 9 seeds during March Madness is quite tough. Well, it won't get any easier picking between Oklahoma and Ole Miss.

The Sooners struggled in conference play with a mediocre 7-11 record against Big-12 opponents. The Rebels went through SEC play with a 10-8 record.

Oklahoma relies heavily on senior guard Christian James, who leads the team in scoring. On the flip side, Ole Miss features one of the better players in the tournament in Breein Tyree.

Some analysts would argue that Ole Miss went through a stronger schedule this season, which is why they should enter the opening round as favorites. Regardless of that narrative, the Worldwide Leader in Sports is actually siding with Oklahoma.

According to ESPN's matchup predictor, the Sooners have a 52.3 chance of knocking out the Rebels in the opening round.

If Oklahoma is going to pull off the minor upset, Kristian Doolittle will play an important role. His numbers over the past fives games were impressive, as he averaged 17.2 points per game during that span.

Tipoff is set for 12:40 p.m. ET from Colonial Life Arena.

Winner of this game will most likely face Virginia in the Round of 32. However, it's possible the Cavaliers find themselves on the wrong side of another historic upset.
