He had some words for his former coach.
Former Oklahoma standout and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers star defensive tackle Gerald McCoy played two seasons under Greg Schiano in Tampa. Under Schiano's helm as head coach, the Bucs went 11-21 in 2012 and 2013.
Schiano is now in his second season as the defensive coordinator at Ohio State. Earlier this summer, he made waves when he claimed that his current crop of Buckeye defensive linemen are better than the groups he worked with in the NFL.
Last night, the OSU defensive line picked up only two sacks against the Sooners, as OU's offensive linemen kept quarterback Baker Mayfield upright enough to throw for 386 yards and three touchdowns.
After the game, McCoy couldn't resist a shot at his former coach on Twitter.
When Schiano made that statement, it felt very exaggerated.
His words came back to bite him.
