The De'Andre Johnson dismissal from Florida State has caused former Oklahoma defensive lineman Tony Casillas to think about his former school.
Joe Mixon, a former five-star recruit, will suit up for the Sooners this fall. Mixon was suspended for the entire 2014 season after being charged with a “misdemeanor count of an act resulting in gross injury” following an altercation with a female student outside a sandwich shop. The 6-foot-2, 217-pound freshman has been practicing with Oklahoma since the spring.
Casillas, who played for OU in the early-1980s before a 10-plus year career in the NFL, criticized Oklahoma president David Boren for allowing Mixon to play.
