Iowa State scored one of the big upsets of the season, knocking off Oklahoma in Norman 38-31. After the game, ISU's Evrett Edwards planted Iowa's state flag at midfield.
It seems like this might become a thing for teams beating Oklahoma now, although it is unclear if Ohio State is really going to feel much better about things after this result.
After the game, Mayfield said that he expected the flag planting following the loss.
As for the "Iowa State's his dad" comments, that already happened loud and clear on national television as Oklahoma turned the ball over on downs to hand the Cyclones the big win.
