Back in late March, Iowa State star Georges Niang announced his decision to return for his final season in Ames, citing his team's second round loss in the NCAA Tournament as one major reason. Friday, Niang was joined by fellow Big 12 star Buddy Hield, who announced to Oklahoma faithfulthat he'll be returning for his senior season as well. Niang, who clearly appreciates the competition between the two, tweeted out a congratulatory message to Hield afterwards.

The returns of both players should equate to another ultra-competitive year in the conference. It's great to see that the players appreciate the challenge of facing one another.
