Jalen Hurts and the Oklahoma Sooners pulled off a big-time win in the Red River Showdown on Saturday afternoon. The rivalry sparked plenty of trash-talk leading up to the game. Players even had to be separated during a pregame scuffle.
But Oklahoma did its talking on the field. That is, until Hurts and Oklahoma cheerleaders trolled Texas after the win.
In a post-game photo, the group held up a ‘No. 1’ finger before one shouts “Horns down, baby!” The group proceeds as you’d expect.
Check out a video of the taunting below.

Sooners fans are fired up and have every reason to be. While the cheerleaders all take part in the Horns Down, Hurts isn’t quite sure what to do.
At first, he appears to casually join in on the fun. But he quickly forgoes the taunting and just smiles for the picture. Probably a smart move on his part.
Lincoln Riley said that his players wouldn’t take part in doing any Horns Down gestures. But after the game, several players couldn’t resist. You can read more about that here.
Can you blame them? Rivalry games tend to bring out some heated emotions from fans and players.
But for now, it’s celebration time for Hurts and the Sooners.
