Jalen Hurts was set to make a pair of visits this weekend, as he looks into a transfer from Alabama.
We know what the first stop was.
Hurts was spotted at Maryland basketball’s game against Indiana, a 78-75 win for the Terrapins over a ranked Hoosiers team.
Alabama offensive coordinator Mike Locksley is the new head coach of Maryland football.
The next visit was reportedly going to be Miami, which is looking at quarterback options, and just hired ‘Bama quarterbacks coach Dan Enos.
Instead, per reports, Jalen Hurts made his way out to Norman to visit with the Oklahoma Sooners.
Oklahoma has produced back-to-back Heisman winning quarterbacks in Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray.
Next season, OU brings in No. 1 quarterback recruit Spencer Rattler in the summer, but Austin Kendall, the likely starter, is in the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Rumors emerged earlier today that Hurts was on campus at Oklahoma, and a few reporters have no confirmed it.

It is unclear what this means for Miami, but the Oklahoma visit isn’t a huge surprise, timing aside.
Sooner Scoop previously reported that Hurts’ father reached out to Oklahoma over a month ago to gauge interest.
It seems like we may know more about his future sooner than later.
