The 1-6 Jayhawks enter the game losers of six straight with their last loss coming last week against Oklahoma State where they fell 44-20. Oklahoma is fresh off of a win at Texas Tech where it topped the Red Raiders 66-59.
Oklahoma and Texas Tech each had 854 yards of total offense last week. Texas Tech threw for 734 yards against the Sooners while Oklahoma dominated the ground game with 309 rushing yards on the night. Baker Mayfield threw for 545 yards and seven touchdowns while Joe Mixon rushed for 263 yards and two scores for the Sooners.
Kansas's offense had a good day against Oklahoma State last week as it recorded 454 yards on the day. The Jayhawks had three turnovers however which put them in tough spots.
Oklahoma beat Kansas last season by the score of 62-7.
Kansas vs. Oklahoma prediction:
Oklahoma and Kansas are playing at two entirely different levels with the Sooners miles ahead of the Jayhawks. Oklahoma's offense exploded last week against the Red Raiders and while it may not reach the 800 yard mark, the Sooners will have another huge day offensively.
The Sooners will pick up their sixth win of the season and will take down Kansas in easy fashion.
