Having already met with the Oakland Raiders’ top brass this past week, Kyler Murray is making the rounds with other NFL teams. According to the latest report, another team in the market for a quarterback is slated to meet with him.
According to NFL analyst Gil Brandt, the Miami Dolphins set up a private workout with Murray at the Oklahoma pro day. Miami currently has the No. 13 overall pick in the draft.
After a third-straight injury-shortened season, the Dolphins parted ways with incumbent quarterback Ryan Tannehill in a trade with the Tennessee Titans. As a result, the Dolphins are now among the most quarterback-needy teams in the draft.
While a good portion of the scouts/coaches at Oklahoma's pro day yesterday moved on to Clemson, the Dolphins stayed behind in Norman to work out Kyler Murray today.

However, landing Murray may be a tall order. With teams like the Arizona Cardinals, Oakland Raiders, and even the Giants and Broncos all in front of them, a lot of things would have to break the Dolphins’ way for them to get Murray without trading up.
Murray is widely projected to be one of the top quarterbacks taken in the 2019 NFL Draft, with some speculating he could go No. 1 overall.
Last year at Oklahoma he won the Heisman trophy during a record-setting campaign that included a Big 12 title, a trip to the College Football Playoff, and a 12-2 record.
The Dolphins do not have much in the way of excess draft capital, so the team will probably want to know with certainty whether Murray is a quarterback worth betting the farm for in a potential trade.
