Murray was a first-round draft pick in the 2019 MLB Draft by the Oakland A’s.
Back in June, prior to his first game at Oklahoma, Murray reportedly signed a $4.66 million contract to play baseball for the A’s.
However, since winning the Heisman Trophy after a Big 12 title-winning season with the Sooners, NFL interest in Murray has surged.
Murray is expected to officially make a decision on the NFL Draft by this weekend.
Reports indicate that he’ll be declaring for the NFL Draft, though that doesn’t mean he’s choosing football.
