Oklahoma Compliance Publicly Reminds Player He Can't Accept Cash To Buy Grand Theft Auto V

Today is the official release date of Grand Theft Auto V, the latest edition in the wildly popular video game series. Of course, this means that many college athletes are super pumped -- video games and college go hand in hand.

Oklahoma defensive back Kass Everett was particularly excited for the release, and wanted to go get the game immediately -- unfortunately, he didn't have the 60 bucks to shell out for it:

Former Sooner Tony Jefferson, who is now in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals, offered to chip in, but oh wait:

Awww, tough break for Everett -- I guess he has to start saving allowance for a few more weeks before hitting the sticks. Good save by the Oklahoma compliance department -- nobody would want the NCAA to come knocking over Grand Theft Auto.
