Oklahoma’s reign of terror on the SEC under Bob Stoops continued this evening, when the Sooners came from behind to top Tennessee in overtime. The victory propelled OU’s record vs. current SEC programs under Stoops to 25-7 and 3-0 in the past three seasons.
The Sooners have made their disdain for the SEC’s hype well-known. Earlier this week, Oklahoma linebacker Eric Striker said he didn’t like how the conference gets “gas blown up their a** all the time.”
Following the win against the Volunteers, OU defensive coordinator Mike Stoops was asked about his player’s comment. He proceeded to call out SEC media king Paul Finebaum.
Mike Stoops on Striker’s SEC blast: “What he said was nothing out of the ordinary. Paul Finebaum slanders us every time he’s on radio.”

Finebaum’s show should be fun on Monday.
