Oklahoma fans are upset with defensive coordinator Alex Grinch today. The Sooners defense appears to be regressing.

Kansas State is giving OU a whole lot of trouble in today's game. The Wildcats dropped 24 points in the first half en route to a 24-23 halftime lead. This is the first time all season Oklahoma has trailed at the half.

The offense hasn't been spectacular today, but it's certainly done enough to give the Sooners the lead. But Oklahoma's defense has been atrocious. Fans are starting to get worried about Grinch.

"OU down at half to K-State and they get the ball to start the 2nd. So much for that Alex Grinch defense," one fan said.

"Weird that Alex Grinch dressed up as Mike Stoops for Halloween," another fan said.

It's safe to say Oklahoma fans are not happy with Grinch's defense. Some fans are even calling for the defensive coordinator to be fired. Quite an overreaction.

But the Sooners defense is starting to look like past OU defenses. Oklahoma has always fielded an elite, explosive offense. But the Sooners have never had a championship-level defense.

Through the first seven games, it appeared Oklahoma's defense was finally at an elite level. But today's performance doesn't inspire too much confidence.
