Oklahoma recently offered three-star offensive lineman Marcus Alexander. It didn't take long for Alexander to jump at the opportunity to play for the Sooners.

Alexander, who plays for Sunnyvale (Tex.), announced his commitment to OU this afternoon. He is Oklahoma's 12th commit for 2019.

Alexander was offered by OU on May 25. He picked the Sooners over Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Missouri and others.

Here's his announcement from Twitter.

Alexander is the No. 32 offensive guard in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. Currently, Oklahoma has the No. 2 recruiting class for 2019. Only Alabama's is better.
