Oklahoma's football program has a history of talking not-so-nicely about the SEC. Back in 2013, Sooners' head coach Bob Stoops called the conference "top-heavy" and then told people to "get over it" in 2014.
With OU set to face Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn., on Saturday, you can expect that talk to continue this week. And it has.
Oklahoma star linebacker Eric Striker is tired of the hype the conference gets.
From the Tulsa World:
"Yeah, man, I don't know why people blow gas up their a** all the time. I don't understand why, you know what I mean? It sucks. Who is it?
"Let's prove the people that say this and that about ‘em, let's prove them wrong. But it never works. Next year, it's the same thing. I've been hearing it since I was in high school. SEC, SEC, you know what I mean? So it's never gonna stop."
Saturday should be fun.
Oklahoma and Tennessee are set to kick off at 6 p.m. E.T.
