The Oklahoma Sooners took down the No. 3 Wichita State Shockers on their home court.

The Oklahoma Sooners upset the No. 3 Wichita State Shockers at home on Saturday, handing WSU its second loss of the season.

Freshman phenom Trae Young exploded for 29 points (21 in the first half) and 10 assists, while fellow freshman Brady Manek chipped in 21 points of his own with 15 coming from behind the arc.

The Sooners struggled defensively in the second half after going up 54-39 at the break—at one point they allowed the Shockers within six points—but they did enough to hang on and secure the victory with some clutch free throw shooting.

Also, Young was doing stuff like this:

Oklahoma is pretty tough to beat when Young is on, and the Shockers were on the wrong end of his offensive explosion.

It's the Sooners' second straight win over a top 25 opponent after taking down No. 25 USC last, and they'll look to keep things rolling with a home matchup versus Northwestern State on Tuesday.
