Somehow, some way, the Oklahoma Sooners have looked better in 2019 than they did in their 2017 and 2018 seasons. They're 7-0 to start the campaign and look like even more of a title contender than in prior years.
But as much fun as it may be to enjoy the current season, the 2020 season looks like it will be equally enjoyable.
Oklahoma's 2020 schedule was recently finalized after the Big 12 announced their in-conference slate of games for next year.
The Sooners' non-conference slate was set up a while ago. They'll play Missouri State on September 5, Tennessee on September 12, and Army on September 26.
Here is Oklahoma's 2020 Big 12 football schedule:
- October 3: vs. Baylor
- October 10: vs. Texas (Dallas)
- October 17: at Iowa State
- October 24: vs. Oklahoma State
- October 31: at TCU
- November 7: at West Virginia
- November 14: vs. Kansas State
- November 21: vs. Kansas
- November 28: at Texas Tech
Quarterback Jalen Hurts will be gone after this season, so Oklahoma will be going with a new quarterback once again.
There's also an outside chance that they'll need a new head coach to boot if Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys have anything to say about it.
Who will be under center for the Sooners in 2020? And will Lincoln Riley still be the man in charge next year?
