Oklahoma's Trevor Knight Cleared To Play Against Clemson In Russell Athletic Bowl

When the Russell Athletic Bowl kicks off on December 29, the Clemson Tigers will be without their starting quarterback, Deshaun Watson, who is having surgery to repair a torn ACL. Surprisingly, however, that the Oklahoma Sooners will have their starting signal-caller. Saturday, the school announced that Trevor Knight, who injured his spine against Baylor a few weeks ago, has been cleared to both practice and play. Knight suffered a scary injury that left him temporarily paralyzed with "transient quadriplegia" after an awkward tackle against the Bears.
