On Tuesday afternoon, college football analyst and ESPN host Paul Finebaum took the time to call out one college football program.
Before the College Football Playoff rankings come out tonight, Finebaum made the case for Alabama to be inside the top four. His comments drew criticism from fans of other programs, to which Finebaum responded with a graphic.
He went after Sooners fans for thinking Oklahoma should be in over Alabama.
“Everyone is talking about Alabama getting the nod, but they have proven it when it counts. What has Oklahoma done with it?” Finebaum said. The graphic shows Oklahoma getting “the benefit of the doubt” in the BCS and CFB Playoff eras.
Check it out.

Finebaum said on Get Up! on Tuesday morning that Alabama is “unequivocally” one of the four best teams in college football this season.
Alabama’s only loss on the season came against the presumptive No. 1 team in the rankings. That seems to suggest the Crimson Tide won’t fall outside the top four in the new rankings, but fans will be unhappy regardless.
Oklahoma, meanwhile, loss to Kansas State, which looks like a bad loss after the Wildcats fell to Texas last weekend.
The CFB Playoff rankings come out in just under an hour.
